We had two Junior Girls’ teams compete at this tournament at the Edgar Centre, Dunedin, this year, from Tuesday 27 November to Thursday 29 November 2018.

 They were supposed to compete in the Junior South Island Beach Volleyball Championships on Friday 30 November, also in Dunedin, but this event was cancelled.

Our Junior A Girls, coached by Mr Sam Ryburn, ended up the winners of the Division 1 Girls competition, beating St Margaret's in the final. They beat STAC in their semi-final convincingly - so it was a good result for Christchurch teams taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the end.

Our Junior ‘B’ Girls team, coached by ex-student Chloe Mikaera, lost only one game all tournament to finish 9th place in Division 2. They played many "A" teams from other schools around the South Island, and only lost to Otago Girls Y10A - so they did extremely well! This team of only 8 girls comprised of:
