On the weekend our BHS Dance Performance Crew 'Defiant' competed at the NZCAF Hip Hop Nationals Championships here in Christchurch.
This team of 15 students, aged from Year 10-13, combined to create a mega crew and took out the overall title in the finals on Saturday, choreographed by tutor Keyana Beecroft.Below is a video link to their epic performance and you will see how impressive they all are. I am so proud of them and how they have come together. Four of the members have never danced outside of school and never competed before, so this was particularly special and a massive achievement for them and as a school. It was so wonderful for these students to be able to have this opportunity after a year of cancelled events.
