Burnside High School leading in the New Zealand Informatics Competition 2019!

Burnside has done well again in the New Zealand Informatics Competition. This is a competition against the best programmers in high schools across NZ, where students write computer programs to solve mathematical problems and are judged on the efficiency and correctness of their programs. This year Burnside came out as the top school in the competition overall, with two students - Eric Song and Joseph Grace - in second and third place respectively. Both students achieved the same score as the winning contestant and only lost out on the top spot by a small time difference.
