The Basketball programme saw over 120 boys and 50 girls competing week in and week out across Terms 2 and 3.

With 13 social teams taking on other local schools across the city, the Hunter and Cross Gyms were buzzing on Friday nights. We also had a fantastic group of student referees and coaches who gave up their Friday nights to help with the running of these games.

On Saturdays we had five competitive teams competing - all boys' teams - U20,  U17A, U17B, U15A and U15B.

The U20 Boys also played in the Thompson Trophy (Div 1) competition on Tuesday evenings, and the Senior Girls played in the Whelan Trophy (Div 2) also on Tuesday evenings.

We had three teams competing over Winter Tournament Week, with our Junior Boys' team travelling to Dunedin to compete in the Junior South Island Secondary Schools' Championships, where they finished 4th. The Senior Boys and Girls teams competed in the Southern Zone Schick Cup in Christchurch, where they finished 4th and 2nd respectively.
