Burnside Technology Fair

Samuel O'Sullivan —

The inaugural technology fair was a great success with about 100 year 10 students exhibiting their end of year projects.

The projects ranged from videogames, podcasts, toys, animations, websites, software, engineering, electronics, stickers, and more. Students displayed their design process from planning to final outcome to their friends and whanau in the form of a poster board. The competition was extremely strong and lots of projects were in the running but finally seven projects got awards, one given out by each digital technology teacher and an overall project award that won the first Burnside Technology Fair trophy.

Thank you very much to all who were able to attend and show your support and especially to Thomas James winner of the Prime Minister’s Future Scientist Prize for 2019 who was our guest judge.
