Talented Burnside High School junior writers had the opportunity to attend this session at the Fendalton Library this term.

At Burnside we have a number of passionate writers who are already writing extensively  both in school and out of school. Choosing eight to be given the opportunity to meet four published authors was a difficult task.

Elle Ilkiw  9WSME, Emily Norris 9NMRR, DeArna NcCaskey  9WSME,  Margot Fraser  9WSME, Jai Bartlett 9SOSC, Madeline Head 10WWIC, Sandith Welengoda Hewage 10WSMYS and Thea-Rose Wilcocks 9WRIC were  the lucky students to be able to attend this.

Students  spent thirty minutes  with each author learning about how they write and sharing the passion they have for writing.

We are grateful to the Book Council for holding these events to encourage our young authors.
