Over the weekend, we had a very successful trip with our senior non-auditioned choir, Magna Voce, to Timaru for the Big Sing South Island Cadenza. As well as being a very well-behaved and generally lovely group to travel with they also represented Burnside High School singing to the highest caliber. 

They achieved a Tui award, which is presented to choirs that gain an aggregate score of 85% or higher. They were one of only three choirs to achieve this and the only non-auditioned choir to do so.
