Congratulations to Penny Yang 13ABJ and Alex Dubery 13KNC who competed in the South Island Powerlifting championships on the 17th of June.

These two students joined Mrs. Knights and her son in Dunedin to compete in this event. Both students had outstanding results and broke national records. Alex broke the U69kg youth deadlift record with and 167kg lift, and penny broke the U72kg youth squat record with a squat of 125kg. Penny also placed 3rd best overall female lifter and Alex 5th best overall male. Congratulations to both these students.
