These students are challenging themselves to compete against the best in their chosen subject area.

Four Burnside Year 10 students competed in the Mathematics Olympiad Competition run by the Australian Mathematics Trust. E Wen Wong 10WTAW and Nina Ose 10WTAW were both awarded Credit for their efforts. Joseph Grace 10SCSS and Jordan Peters 10NMDA excelled in this competition and received Distinction Awards.

Joseph Grace further demonstrated his versatility in the Informatics Olympiad where he was awarded a Bronze Award.
