Very best wishes are extended to Yan Hao Tay 13MTD as he prepares to take part in the 14th International  Geography Olympiad. The best 16-19 year old students from all over the world participate in this annual competition.

Yan Hao is part of a four-person team to represent New Zealand at the 14th International Geography Olympiad in Belgrade, Serbia in August 2017. He has been working hard this year, in both fundraising and training for the competition. 

The iGeo consists of three parts: a written test, a multimedia test and a substantial field work exercise. The competition also includes scientific poster presentations by teams, cultural exchanges, and time for students to get to know their fellow students and explore the host city.
