DELF success for French students at Burnside High School.
On Saturday, August 27, eight of our French students sat their DELF examination, and passed with outstanding results.
This examination is an international French qualification recognised throughout the world and can enable students to gain entry to European universities. Shanika Yu, a former BHS student from 2021 is currently studying at the Sorbonne in Paris, and gained her B2 DELF qualification last year.
The students were examined on listening, reading, writing and listening skills for 3 hours covering 3 different levels A2, B1 and B2.
Margarita Konstantinova, Anastasia Bell, Paige Tindall, Lil Ogano, Hayley Escott, Francie Liebert, Kate Vernon and Emily Zhang studied for many extra hours of tutorials and have achieved top marks in Canterbury.
Féliciations to all these students.
