A warm welcome to the 2660 students at Burnside for 2025.

We start 2025 with a student roll of approximately 2660 students. This is the largest ever roll for Burnside High School, which shows confidence in our school.

On Monday 3 February we welcomed 520 new year 9 students, 40 international students and new learners into each 10-13 year group. Each year group at Burnside High School now has approximately 500 students with the largest years being year 11 and 12.

Our in-zone enrolments exceed 2000 students, with our out-of-zone numbers continuing to decline as we mange our school numbers. Within the year we will welcome 151 international students, who add to the cultural diversity of our school.

We currently have 88 ethnicities represented at Burnside High School and we look forward to working with you all in 2025.

It is fantastic to see our local parent and student community supporting Burnside High School and we are grateful to all our parents and caregivers for entrusting us with the care and education of your teen. We will work hard each day to support them to achieve their goals and reach their potential.
