Over two weeks in the school holidays 23 Dance students had a chance to take classes at some of the best dance studios in LA.

Along with standing next to dance royalty, the students also had a chance to perform on Hollywood Boulevard, at Universal Studios and Disneyland stages representing Burnside High School.

A highlight was sitting in the front row of the taping of the finale of America's Got Talent (and meeting Howie the judge) and being inspired by the many of the worlds best agents, dancers and choreographers that we met along the way.

We are so proud of the students as they navigated tightly scheduled days, new experiences and lots of dance classes where everyone in the room was at industry level. 

Everyone represented Burnside High with pride and professionalism far beyond their years. This really was a life changing trip for all involved! A massive thanks must go to Tahlia Ellis, Theresa Smith, Emily Kwell, Trudy Brown and Lee- Anne Savage who all came on the trip as support and made it run so smoothly!
