Proposed and organised by our school academic leaders, the interest in this event was exceptional.

Thanks to everyone involved in setting up and organising this event at lunchtime on Monday. The Aurora Centre stage was packed with contestants and made for an interesting running experience for all the cantamath team runners!

There were 30 student teams and 6 staff teams who participated. Twenty questions had been prepared but we ran out of time to finish.

Congratulations to the winners - student team - Tottenham Hotspur Europa League Winners 24/25 - who managed to complete 16 questions in the allotted time - just one question ahead of the second place getters. Remembering of course in Cantamath you can't progress from one question unless you get it right or pass.

Thanks to John Wilkes for coming up with an engaging set of approachable questions to challenge both students and teachers. Special mention to the 18 markers who also participated. Without you we would not have an event.
