From Wednesday 23rd October to Friday 25th of October Burnside ran its annual Junior Speech Competition. All of Year 9 and Year 10 were engaged, persuaded and entertained by fantastic speakers from each form class. The topics covered things like; the black death, skinny jeans, individuality, why it’s good to shower, artificial intelligence, perfectionism, failure, social media influences, happiness and a wide variety of other topics.

Year 10 students also gained Mitchel Cup points for their efforts. Well done to all our skilled public speakers.
