On Saturday 3rd March Lixin Zhang (Year 13 SMP Piano) competed in the prestigious National Concerto Competition which was open to all pianists under the age of 25.

This event was held at The Luney Auditorium at St Margaret's College and we are very proud to announce Lixin placed second.  Each finalist performed a full concerto accompanied by the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
