New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships

We then moved on to National Secondary School Cross Country held this year in Hawera. The weather could at best be described as challenging with heavy rain, thick mud and cow pats...the true Cross Country experience.

We had a team of ten athletes who all competed as individuals on the Saturday and in Canterbury Regional teams on the Sunday. The students represented the school with stoic pride and all finished well in very large fields.

It is exciting after the cancellations of 2020 that all these events were able to take place.
