This year Drama has really put itself on the stage!

Toa Fraser —

The senior Drama students have all been involved in a variety of public performances this year.

The main goals of our senior plays are to not only entertain but also educate.

"The issues this year have been as diverse as the long cue at a Burger King  counter. " (Bare)

We have provided a lot of comedic moments, like the horse races in “Wheeler Luck” and the interaction of the characters in “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest”,  but the tragedy of the incarceration of Verity Taylor in” Find Me”, and the story of a young Fijian boy in “Bare” have also provided moments of sadness.

We have been pleased with the audience numbers this year and hope they will continue to grow as the wider community becomes aware of the dramatic talent we offer as a school in Drama. Being involved in a full play provides opportunities to be immersed in the process of theatre in a more “real” way.
