We took a team of 12 students up to the National Dance Challenge in Auckland over the weekend.

We almost didn't make it due to flight cancellations, delays and peak hour Auckland traffic! But the team handled it like professionals and stepped onto the stage that night calm and prepared and did a fabulous job.

We managed to take out first place in the National Secondary school Contemporary division with a brilliant score of Platinum Gold. There were 45 schools who attended this competition and we were the only ones representing the South Island.
