The Dance showcase took place in Term 3. Over the course of two nights all Dance students from Year 10 to Year 13 showcased their incredible skills on stage.

On August 7th the Year 10 and Year 11 Dance students spent their day in the Aurora Center rehearsing for their performance that evening at 6pm. The following day the Year 12 and Year 13 Dance students took their turn on stage, rehearsing all day and performing in the evening in front of their whanau and friends. There was an incredible amount of talent on that stage over the course of two evenings, and the students did the Dance department proud  by performing all the dances they were taught throughout the year, and showcasing their own choreography.  There was a range of styles performed from Contemporary and Hip Hop, to Cheerleading, Bollywood, K-Pop, Musical Theatre and more. 

Thank you to all the students who made those two days run successfully and to the teachers who helped with the shows backstage.  Thank you to all the external tutors who have taught choreography throughout the year. The department appreciates all the support we receive from the school and the families.
