Korfball is a fast-paced, fun & vibrant mixed-gender ball sport that is continuing to grow in the Canterbury region.

Numerous players have progressed their Korfball skills by competing in the Term 1 and Term 4 Mixx Secondary Schools' Korfball competitions. Players also competed in the Mixx SISS Tournament held here in Christchurch in September, which is always a highlight for the Korfball season as it has all the best teams from around the South Island competing at one venue over a weekend.

Thank you to all those who have participated in this year’s season. It has been fantastic to see so many dedicated players involved in Korfball this year. All our past/present players can agree it’s a great new sport to get involved in and we hope to see even more new faces sign up next year to continue the already fantastic growth of Korfball at Burnside!
