Talofa lava, malo e lei lei, Canterbury Polyfest is on Saturday March 18 from 9.00 am at Hagley park - Hagley North Park Armagh Street.
Our Burnside High School group of around 50 students from all year levels have been practising regularly with our tutor Greg Galovale and his assistant Leasa. The good news is that we are number 2 for performing and the event begins at 8.50am with a welcome prayer and performances shortly after that (by 9.00 am).A map is attached and the performance programme - 26 schools are performing this year. The students would love your support if you can attend and it is always a lovely day. It's the first time Polyfest has been held at Hagley and not having performed last year, this year is special for the group.There are 60 stalls selling food and other Pasifika wares.
