The Top Scholar Awards ceremony celebrates the academic achievements of the highest achieving secondary school students in the New Zealand Scholarship Examinations.

At this ceremony, awards were presented to Premier Scholars and to the Top Scholar in each Scholarship subject. The Prime Minister’s Award for Academic Excellence was also announced and awarded.

Grady Kenix received a Top Subject Scholar Award, and Shun Ting (Carol) Khor received a Premier Award (for number of outstanding and total scholarships received) and Top Subject Scholar Award (Biology).
