The annual Showquest performance competition is underway. The regional competition was on 16/05/2023.

On Tuesday 16th May, 70 students spent the day in the Town Hall, rehearsing, chanting and supporting one another as well as the other schools. In the end, they did their very best on that stage and went home with 4 awards for best live music, best lighting, and highly commended theme and choreography. Unfortunately, we didn't secure an overall win, but we are extremely proud of our work, considering we faced numerous disruptions in a very short amount of time. Our performance can be viewed on the official Showquest YouTube channel for anyone who missed it. 

Congratulations to Violet Clapham 13JJN, our Head leader. She took on a huge role and managed to produce incredible ideas and choreography, consequently becoming an inspiration to many Junior students. Thank you to the wonderful team of Senior leaders and to Michael Barrett 11WKHR who did an outstanding job with his lighting skills.

Shakespeare once said that life happens in 7 stages - also known as the 7 ages of man. Each stage is charming, challenging and totally different from one another. And yet, through it all, all the different ages and the ups and downs, there is one thing each stage has in common. People."
