Magna Voce

Thomas Marshall —

Throughout my senior years, Magna Voice has to be the most fun choir to be a part of.

I remember joining this choir when I was year 11, walking into the green room for rehearsal for the first time at 8:15am in the morning. I look at the choir and told myself “ that’s the biggest choir I ever seen.”

When I put myself forward to be Student Conductor for this year, I was so nervous, but instead of being so scary and difficult, it has been the most enjoyable part of the year for me. I remember the night at Voices Festival; conducting for my very first performance at St Margaret's was a night I never forget. I’m really going to miss the fun times in this choir.

I would like to say thanks to Mrs O’Mahony and the other conductors I have bumped into throughout the 3 years in Magna Voce, without you helping me learning these amazing pieces I wouldn’t be a part of the Music Department family. I have made so many friends through this choir, and it's so heartbreaking to say goodbye to everyone.
