On Wednesday night the Year 11 Calculator competition took place at Hagley College.

 There were 17 teams from 15 schools (Burnside High School  and Christchurch Boys High School had 2 teams). After 4 rounds there were two teams tied on 135/140. Saint Andrews College and Burnside B. There was a tiebreaker question and the first team to answer the question was the winner. Our Burnside team got there first. Christ College was 3rd and Burnside A was 4th.This is the 6th year in a row Burnside has won this competition! The winning team was Annabelle Brownsword , Johnny Lawrey, Dilkee Nanayakkara and Max Wallace. The 4th place team was Ella Matthews, Minami Nakamura, Sophia Li and Devin Lin .
