An afternoon celebrating Dance's 2023 successes!

On Friday, October 13th, the senior dance students came together to celebrate the year's achievements.

The afternoon started with the year 13s performing their final NCEA assessments for an appreciative crowd of fellow dancers. The room then shifted into awards mode, with trophies presented by Head of Department, Talia Ellis.

Certificates were awarded for Service to Dance (based on a minimum of two years continued involvement in the Dance Performance Academy) and Achievement in Dance (based on awards earned in competitions etc. throughout 2023). Special Awards were then awarded for the highest achieving year 13 dancers.

Congratulations to all staff and students of the dance department on a successful 2023!
