Our Senior Boys A team won the South Island Secondary Schools' Boys Team Championships the weekend of 24-25 June 2023, held at the Burnside Squash Club, Christchurch.

Our team, comprising of (from left to right in the above photo):

Ryan Gillman, James O'Keefe and Addison Po

beat Marlborough Boys' in a tense and exciting final game. They won all their games leading into the final also.

From memory, this could be the first time we have won such a prestigious Squash event - so this is a momentous achievement for these boys who are a credit to the school and their sport.

These three boys, along with three other boys, are again representing Burnside High at the NZ Secondary Schools' Squash Team Champs in the North Shore, Auckland, during Winter Tournament Week in late August 2023.
