Once again we have a very fine group of young leaders who are helping to improve our beautiful grounds

Nearly 100 students have  signed up to the Burnside Environment Group in 2019 and already they are making a difference. With very dry conditions, maintenance of last year's plantings is our key task in Term One and a hundred buckets makes light work of a mighty task. This year we are very fortunate that the City Council have allowed us to continue our plantings along the Hewlings Stream into Jellie Park. The Council have prepared an area and will provide us with plants that should help to establish a corridor of native plants to attract invertebrates and birds. The Burnside Environment Group is open to all students and new members are very welcome. Please contact Mr land or meet us on the upper grounds after school every Wednesday.
