Squash this year saw the season begin with nearly all players being new, and with an impressive number of juniors joining us.

 With 3 Boys Teams, 1 Girls Team and a Mixed Team, we had a large representation in the School Competitions.

Our teams played exceptionally well this year, with a couple of teams dominating their gradings throughout the season, resulting in them playing off for first place in the final. The Boy’s Green Team (our A Team) and the Boy’s White Team (one of our B Teams) both convincingly won their final games, gaining First Place in their gradings. Our other teams also had successful last games of the season, meaning this was one of our most successful years of Squash in recent times. As always though, the highlight of the season has been the Monday practice and training sessions, which are always inclusive of teamwork, laughter, music, and an element of competitiveness!

Aside from the school sport competition, we also had several of our strongest players compete against Ashburton as part of the annual exchange. We started well with a couple of our boys winning their games, but overall Ashburton was the stronger team and we were unable to beat them. Our boys played exceptionally well, and it was an enjoyable morning of friendly competition.
