Former Chiefs and current Sunwolves and Japan No. 8 coaches IRP boys and girls

2015 Japan World Cup captain Michael Leitch, did a guest coaching session for the International Rugby Programme today. The theme of the session was 'decision-making in attack" but Michael included some excellent tips for players to include in their own 10-minute skill menus to do before practices and games.

Michael started his own rugby career by going on a rugby adventure while still at high school (from St. Bede's College to Sapporo Yamanote High School in Japan) so he understands the motivation of the boys and girls in the IRP.  Even now Michael maintains friendships with Japanese players from his time at St. Bede's College when the IRP was operating there.

The IRP players and staff are very grateful to Michael for giving up his time today to contribute to their rugby education and wish him well with his games here in New Zealand.
