With a growing number of international students that want to study at our school, Burnside High School is looking for kind and caring host families for our international students in 2026. See below for more information.

Our starting requirements are:

1. Within a reasonable distance of Burnside High School

2. Students have own comfortable bedrooms

3. Provide three meals plus snacks a day

4. Hosts who are inclusive and English is the primary language spoken at home

There are opportunities available to host students with diverse profiles. We are especially interested in receiving applications from families who wish to host male students and who are flexible in accommodating special diets, such as vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free, as this is where the need is highest at the moment.

Our homestay payment is $370.00 per week in 2026.
