Athletics - South Island Secondary Schools' Championships
A team of 22 athletes competed in this event in Dunedin over three days from the 31st March to the 2nd of April.
A fantastic group of young people went away to compete at the South Islands. The team represented the school with pride.
Two South Island titles were won - both by Ryan Sutherland 11SBGS, who won the 800m and 1500m in grand style. Other results were as follows:
2nd Eliza Meekings 10WSUM Under 16 Pole Vault (3rd overall)
3rd Daniel Roswell 11NCHB 3000m and 1500m
3rd Cameron Clark 11SDVD 3000m
3rd Under 14 Boys Relay ably led by Calib Bone 9WHRC who ran a scorching leg, Jaron Ting 9WHRC, Dafydd Spratt 9NPLC, and Finn McLachlan 10NMDA

4th Thomas Anderson 10SSTR 3000m
