This year, our team navigated the unique dynamic of integrating a blend of experienced seniors and enthusiastic rookies.

Initially, it was challenging to align a group of individuals who had never played together. However, as the season unfolded, I was able to witness individual improvements and greater team success. This year, we exceeded expectations, finishing 12th in the Thompson Trophy and a commendable 14th at the South Islands—only one spot worse than last year.

The tournament stands out among all the great memories I made this season, especially the rookie initiations, which I'm sure will be remembered by some rookies for a long time (shout out to Chung). I have built connections with a range of new players over the season, and it was a blast to spend my last season with this team. I appreciate you all.

Lastly, I want to give a massive thank you to coaches Jayden and Richard for all the hard work they put into the team this year, and also, Ms Ogilvie, for keeping us fed and prepared at the tournament and for taking some awesome pics over the seasons.
