This year the Mixed A team came 1st in the Canterbury Secondary Schools' Wednesday competition, during Terms 2 and 3.

The team was led by Ellie Zhang, who was joined by Derrick Wong, Xavier Reid and Mihik Advilkar.

Ellie, Derrick, Xavier and Joshua Kim went to the NZ Secondary Schools' Teams tournament in Hamilton during Winter Tournament Week and the team came 5th overall. In the Individuals event, the best placings we had were Ellie placing 4th in the U19 Girls and Xavier placing 3rd in the U15 Boys category. 

The team also held many individual titles throughout the year representing Canterbury, and at the National Championships in Invercargill in October, Ellie and her U19 team placed 2nd and Derrick, Mihik and Xavier placing 3rd in the U15 Boys team.
