Hamilton Sept 12-15th September

Five students from Burnside High School represented the school at National Secondary Schools Swimming in Hamilton. Our most successful participants were Oli Heaton who managed a bronze in the Boys 15  200 Meter Butterfly, in a time of 2:15.41 and Baileigh O'Sullivan who was unlucky not to place with a 4th in Girls 17-18 200 Meter Butterfly with a time of 2:24.61. 

All swimmers achieved personal bests which is always an indicator of a well managed and motivated team. Thanks must go to the parents of our swimmers managing this team, Mr Scott Vesty and Tanya OSullivan.  Conor McCullough, Mark Chang and Jade Vesty all managed high level placings in a number of events.
