Chamber Music Contest

Chris Petch —

This year's contest has been rather different, with the district and regional stages happening online by adjudicated video submissions.

Only the National finals will be running as live performances in front of an audience - these are at The Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington in August. We have enjoyed exceptional results this year, despite so much missed preparation time due to the lockdown.

District Round Results:

Every group selected for the district final was from Burnside High School (6 out of 8) or was a mixed school group (tutored by another school) including Burnside students (James Anderson, Ethan Tovey, Juliette Ma).
