NZQA approves entitlement to a derived grade to candidates sitting in external exams who meet the eligibility criteria. Applications are made to NZQA by the school on behalf of a candidate following the submission of a completed application form by the candidate or candidate’s parent.

Applications must be submitted to the School before the 5th December. Scanned copies can be sent to assessment@burnside.school.nz or paper copies can be left at the Student Office
