Challenges faced and resilience shown in Dunedin.

Basketball in New Zealand is hitting new heights right now, with Canterbury being particularly strong. Our Burnside Senior Boys team certainly faced some serious challenges during Tournament week in Dunedin.

The boys managed to play brilliantly for at least two quarters of each game but struggled maintaing this momentum for the full 40 minutes, not helped by a few key players having to content with injuries. Despite this, they kept their heads up, determined to avenge each loss, and showed true resilience with a strong win on the last day.

Thanks to Jayden Cameron and Richard Hancox for their hard work coaching throughout the season, and taking time out from their own busy lives to come to tournement.
