Cross Country
Burnside High School competed in the Canterbury and NZ Secondary Schools' Cross Country Championships this term.

A team of 10 athletes then headed off to Nelson to compete in the NZ Secondary Schools' Cross Country Championships.
A very muddy course even by Cross Country standards. No individual podium finishes but the goal was for all the team to accomplish their personal goals and the big smiles of satisfaction showed they all did that. The students in this group all love to run and their enthusiasm and fun is contagious.
Theo Walker 13ABJ gained a Bronze medal in the Canterbury Senior Boys A team in the Regional event.
