We are ecstatic to learn that Year 13 student Paris Chin has been selected to represent New Zealand at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 as a rhythmic gymnast.
This morning, Paris travelled to Auckland to attend a media event that officially announced the contingent of gymnasts who will represent NZ in Birmingham. She has proudly "earned the fern" and we couldn't be happier for her.
Paris travelled overseas to attend rhythmic gymnastics World Cup events. Her performance at these events has resulted in her being selected by the NZ Olympic Committee to attend the Commonwealth Games 2022. We are proud that Paris has achieved one of her long-term goals.
