National Secondary Schools Volleyball Championships

In early February, three duos travelled to Tauranga to compete in the Secondary Schools' Beach Volleyball Nationals. Rosa Vesty and Taylah Holdem went on to win Gold in the Year 11 Girls Division which shows their promise for the years to come.

Taylah and Rosa Vesty were also named in the NZ U17 Women's Commonwealth Games Squad. One pair from this squad of approx 10 women will be named to compete in the next Commonwealth Games.

South Island Secondary Schools Junior Beach Volleyball Championships

The South Island Secondary Schools Junior Beach Volleyball Championships were held in Invercargill in November.  Our three Junior Boy's teams competed extremely well taking out 1st and 2nd in the Year 10 competition, and 1st in the Year 9 competition.
