Lord of the Flies by Adam Hodgson
Charlotte Ensor — August 17, 2020
The successful Year 13 drama production for 2020.
From August 19-21, the Year 13 Drama class performed William Goldberg's dark reflection on society, Lord of the Flies. With audiences limited to 100 per night due to Covid-19 restrictions, the first two nights were quickly sold out and a third had to be added.
Audiences were receptive and appreciated the conviction of the cast and the energy required for such an intense piece of theatre. Much of the feedback complimented the cast's enthusiastic performances and strong characterisations.
The production showcased the incredible ensemble teamwork of these talented students, as they performed together on stage for the majority of the three-act performance.
Ms Olliver would like to sincerely thank Mrs Vicki Morris-Williamson, Mr Richard Wiltshire, and Mrs Rachael Mountstevens for their help and contributions to the quality of the production.
