Burnside vs Shirley Powerlifting Challenge.

Students were placed using a points system for best Squat, Bench, Deadlift, total and overall best school.

Many students stepped onto the platform for the first time and all displayed great physical and mental strength and achieved great results.

Those who placed in the top ten included:

Corban Blackwell: 10th Place Squat

Sean Ding: 8th Place Bench

Penny Yang: 7th Place deadlift, 3rd Place Bench, 2nd Place Squat, 3rd Place overall. 

Kevin Ha: 6th place Squat, 6th place Bench, 2nd Place Deadlift, 2nd Place overall.

Burnside ended the day with 203 points, but Shirley Boys proved to be tough competitors and took out the title of best school overall with 244 points. Our students did extremely well against many lifters with more experience, and all should be commended on their great results.
