Refreshing the events calendar for 2022
Our Events Coordinator, Sandy Jefferies, has been busy pulling an exciting programme together, and is happy to report that BA5s will be back in the new year!
“The first six months of BA5s have been booked in for Dunedin, and we are planning for BA5s in Waitaki and Central Otago, after these were unable to go ahead during the latter part of this year,” she says. “It’s great to get these back up and running, and we’ll also be hosting monthly BB8s with a range of wonderful guest speakers.”
You can register for upcoming BA5s and the BB8s here. If any businesses are interested in hosting these events in Waitaki or Central Otago, please let us know.
The Dunedin Business Expo was postponed twice this year, so we’re looking forward to the rescheduled event on 24 February. More than 30 businesses have registered to exhibit and share more about their wonderful products and services. This will be a great opportunity to mingle and support our fantastic local operators – or, showcase your own business by registering here.
It could be a good time to start practising your swing as we approach the annual Dunedin Golf Tournament, which raises funds for the Young Enterprise Scheme. This will be held at the Taieri Lakes Golf Course on 11 March – register here. The Central Otago Golf Tournament will be held in September in Alexandra.
Plenty other exciting events are in the pipeline, including:
- our eight-week Dunedin Leadership Academy beginning in February, the Waitaki District Leadership Academy in March, and the Central Otago Leadership Academy in May
- our Westpac Business Smarts Series Webinars in February, May and July
- the Women’s International Lunch in March
- three Women’s Cricket World Cup matches in March
- the Business Awards in November.
Attendance at all events will require a valid My Vaccine Pass as mandated by the Government’s traffic light system.
You can find a full list of all our finalised events here.
