Self-isolation and testing requirements

With the Southern district’s high vaccination rates, most people who get Covid-19 will have a mild to moderate illness and will be able to recover in their own homes.

At this stage of the Omicron outbreak, people who test positive will need to self-isolate for 14 days and their household contacts must isolate for at least 10 days.

Full details on self-isolation requirements can be found here, and you can read advice on preparing for self-isolation here.

There is also comprehensive advice to businesses about the requirements of testing and returning to work, including the use of rapid antigen tests (RATs) as the outbreak progresses - you can find this here
