As you read this I will be on my way to the UK to attend a conference at Canterbury Cathedral for Bishops in the early years of their Episcopal ministry......

I am looking forward to this conference and being further equipped to lead you and the Diocese in the years to follow. I see many positive signs of God's work throughout the Diocese and look forward to continuing to work alongside you all in seeking God's purpose for this place.

Lorraine and I are also expecting our first grandchild any day now and Lorraine has also traveled to the UK for this. 

You will all be in our thoughts and prayers while we are away. I am grateful to Rev'd Gary Griffith-Smith who, as Vicar-General, is able to act on my behalf if any emergency arises in my absence, and also to the excellent staff at Peter Mann House. Lorraine & I look forward to being back with you all soon.
