Chaplaincy at Dunedin and Wakari Hospitals.

Rev'd Vivienne Galletly —

It is with pleasure that we welcome Rev'd Joy Hamilton-Jones as member of the Chaplaincy team at Dunedin and Wakari Hospitals.

Joy spent time in this Diocese as the Chaplain at St Hilda`s Collegiate School and for the last 2 years has been a Chaplain to Hospitals in the Capital-Coast district. She is available 5 days a week.

The Chaplaincy team and their usual availabilities are:

The Rev`d Joy Hamilton-Jones Monday to Friday.

The Rev`d Cameron Sinclair 4 days per week. (Presbyterian)

The Rev`d Vivienne Galletly Monday and Wednesday at Dunedin and Friday afternoon at Wakari.

The Rev`d Canon Maureen Cribb Weekday mornings. Chaplain to Maori. Licenced by +Richard of Te Wai Pounamu

The Rev`d Fr Mark Chamberlain Roman Catholic Chaplain.

Chaplaincy is available 24/7. Chaplains are usually available 8.30am -5pm on weekdays and one is rostered on- call during nights and weekends.

Capable, trained Voluntary Chaplaincy Assistants contribute to the care of patients during the day and some city clergy are rostered for night calls.

A service of Holy Communion is held in the Chapel at Dunedin Hospital at 10.30am on most Sundays. Voluntary Chapel Hostesses, Musicians and Bed-pushers contribute wonderfully to these services.

We welcome referrals from parish clergy and pastoral care co-ordinators and can be contacted at 03 474 0999.

We appreciate the financial support of so many parishes, groups and individuals and are available to speak to groups or at services.
