Murray Fletcher retires after 20 Years as Bail Server
Murray Fletcher started working as a Bail server in 2001 and, twenty years later, he has reluctantly resigned for health reasons.
A farewell function for Murray was held in the District Court building recently and was attended by Murray's family, fellow Bail Bonds team members, JP's and Court staff. There were many stories that Murray had to tell from his 20 years in this role and it was clear that the staff enjoyed his friendly attitude. Murray received a gift basket from the Court in appreciation of his volunteer work in this role. Court Manager Phil Miles commented that it has always been a pleasure to have Murray come in and perform this vital function. Canty JP Registrar, Ken Shields, presented Murray with a certificate acknowledging his 20 years of service.
