It is with pleasure that I hereby nominate Neville Garth Dale for Life Membership of the Association.

“Neville Garth Dale (Garth) was appointed a Justice of the Peace on 3 September 1997.

Prior to being appointed as a Justice of the Peace Garth undertook the role of Auditor for the Association for 26 years, having being elected to that role at the Association’s Annual General Meeting on 27 October 1971.

On appointment as a Justice of the Peace Garth could no longer undertake the role of the Association’s Auditor.

At its AGM held in October 2000 Garth was appointed as the Association’s Treasurer, a role that he still undertakes today.

Garth’s exemplary service to the Association in the roles of Auditor and Treasurer totals 44 years and is worthy of recognition by way of granting Life Membership”.

This nomination is supported by Association Past Presidents: Stan Hackwell, John Wong, Ian Hay and Bob Macgregor.

The Nomination of Garth Dale JP for Life Membership was received by the CJPA Council and discussed by 8 Councillors. Garth Dale was not informed of the nomination nor was he involved in the discussion and resulting decision – which was unanimously in favour of granting Life Membership to G. Dale JP.

The Council are pleased to present their decision to the 2018 Annual General Meeting for endorsement.
